Yes, the 717 is a dual mono amp. I'll let you know what I think about the service work once I've had the amp home and it's playing for a day or two!

this may be a silly question.but could you use one the sansui au range of amps as a pre amp?.also apart from ebay anyone know where is a good place to buy one ?. thanks
