Samsung TV adding a HD free view set top box ?

Hi

I have a Samsung TV with intergrated freeview - Do you know if it is possible to add a HD free view box to the TV and use this instead of the one built into the TV? Looking at the HD boxes with built in hard drives to add to the TV.

Freeview doesn't transmit in HD atm, and afaik there isn't currently any freeview stb's that would be able to receive an HD signal on the market. If you want HD now you've currently got 3 options, Freesat... although HD content is still limited,Virgin... but again only has limited HD content or SkyHD which has a fair bit of HD content,but will cost you an arm and a leg

Thanks - I was thinking of the free sat box to see if this could then be linked to my current TV which has free view built in. I did not now whether there would be a conflict or if it would work

It wont cause any conflict no. JUst connect it to your tv using an hdmi cable
