I have a Samsung LE32R87 and have had it for 6 months or so.
Recently it's done a few odd things.

A couple of times it has switched itself on, and last night it changed sources a few times on it's own(I was playing music on the PS3 and it switched to the next HDMI source), and the menu has come up without anyone touching anything.

I thought it might be the remote so took the batteries out of that.
It did it again once they were out.

I have a PS3 plugged into HDMI 1 and a Virgin V+ box in HDMI 2.
There's a DVD recorder plugged into a Scart socket but it's powered off.

I'm baffled.
Is this a known issue ? or does anyone have any ideas or suggestions ?

Thanks for any light anyone might be able to shed on this.

Sounds like there's definitely a gremlin in the works. Weird! Have you spoken to the retailer you bought it from? Presumably it's still under warranty?

Spoke to Samsung who were very helpful and said it had a slight fault and gave me a reference number.

Then spoke to Amazon who I bought it from. Or rather, their Indian call centre.
Oh what fun!
Long story short, they don't sell it any more so I have to "post" it back to them and they will refund me the cost of the TV, and (allegedly) the cost of the postage.
I am so pleased now that I bought it from amazon, really I am.

Might be worth speaking to Samsung again and explaining the situation. If you're lucky, maybe they'll swap it out for you (unless you want to buy a newer TV, in which case go for the refund!).
