Samsung ARC smart hub Yamaha receiver

Hi

I have recently installed a 55" samsung curved tv. I am unable to send sound back to my yamaha amp via ARC when wanting to listen to audio through my seperate surround sound via ARC with the samsung built in apps? Does anyone know if samsung support ARC when using the smart hub? All settings turned on.

Hi have an older Yamaha (673) and a couple of generations old Samsung with Smarthub. To use the apps via ARC i have to wait for the TV to recognise the reciever first (either automatically or selected through tools) and then go into the smart hub.

I assume ARC is working for everything else (TV, blueray etc)

My setup is as follows ps3, skyhd connected into av amp via hdm,i then hdmi over cat6 to TV. I have turned on anynet on TV and activated ARC through HDMI control on the AV receiver, when going into netflix on smart hub it cuts off the tv speakers but still no sound through av amp, still a bit confused...
