Dear All I received my CA Azur 640C V2 CD player approximately one-and-a-half months ago. Today, while I was busy tidying and about to store its box, I read that, for optimal performance, one should "allow 36 hours' continuous use". I had mistakenly thought that the running-in of such a product would be accomplished by using it normally for some time. Please advise me whether I should now heed their advice, if it is too late, or whether or not it would improve sound-quality. Many thanks! zimble01

Personally i would not be worried now.

well it is a bit late! maybe just have a nice session over the weekend. But i don not think it would make any difference now.

If you've been using it regularly over the last month and a half, that should be fine. They suggest 36 hours' continuous use at the beginning if you want to get it run-in straight away, but now that you've been using it for a while, it should be OK.
