rotel RX840BX3

hi everyone ive just joined i have a rotel RX840BX3 the right chanel is not working but the left is perfect ive changed the fuses but no change but you can vaguely hear the sound on the right not sure what this is can anyone help thank you.

Hi rotelAmp22, and welcome to the forums!

Do you get the same when plugging in headphones? If so, it's the preamp section (or maybe the volume control), if not it's the power amp section.

Also, is this on one specific input (say CD) or have you tried plugging the whatever it is into a different input, to make sure it's not just that input that's playing up.

If the swap doesn't solve it, and you aren't a dab hand with a multimeter and soldering iron, it could be time for a new amp...
