Rotel RA-05 Integrated Amp

I've been offered this for £120 in mint condition.

I currently have a terrible TA-FE370 from Sony and some Ms904i speakers

Should I take this or go for a second hand marantz pm6002 or NAD c-372 / c325bee?

I'll be buying better speakers like KEF IQ5se next.

Unless you can get the Marantz at a similar price then the Rotel would be a great match with the Kef iQ5's, not to mention a bargain..

I used to have a pair of iQ3's and they were quite a good match. All imo of course. It's pity you can't demo these as they are from a previous range though. Let us know how you get along.

Yup I agree

The Rotel would be a great amp to have and would sit well with the KEF's although, IMO, the M/A BR5's or the Acoustic Energy AE Neo 3's would be better suited to the Rotel.

If you didnt go for the Rotel a decent 2nd hand Arcam Alpha 10 or NAD C352 integrated amp would be the next port of call IMO

thanks for the comments I did not buy this amp as I'm looking at putting some money into a new output for my digital audio like an e-mu 1212m pci card and the rest on something like a marantz 6010ose or pm6002 and that way I think i'll overall have a better sound as i'm running off an audio card with a rather more basic DAC at the moment the asus xonar d1.
