room size

I'm going to buy av amp and B&W 5.1 set.

I want to go for 2 floorstanders(684)and 2 surrounds(685)+center speaker and sub.

My room size is 8mx4m(but only half room will be used,so that'll be 4x4)

Would that not be too much for a room this size?

Anyone who uses this speakerset in a room around this size?

Hi,

My room isn't much bigger than 4x4m, and I'm not sure of the size of the BMW floor standers, but my system includes two KEF floorstanders, and a substantial subwoofer.

I was a bit dubious about getting the subwoofer, as I thought it would be too powerful to use, but the dealer told me I needed it!

I never have the main volume much over 50, and the sub is permanently on about a third output, but the sound is great!

As you have more actual space for the system to 'breath', I wouldn't think you'll have a problem. And games sound awesome!
