£500 for a Razer keyboard https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-keyboards/razer-huntsman-signature-edition/RZ03-05510100-R3M1 It's not even like Razer has a reputation for quality, reliability and durability...
I have the Razor Huntsmen top keyboard, you won't recognise it with those customised keycaps! 🙂
Each keycap has it's own dedicated light. I don't mean the led, the keycaps are controlled by laser light in place of a mechanical switch.

Though, I have to say my preference is Steelseries keyboard, also unrecognisable. It uses magnetic technology, better feel and response than the Huntsmen, both quality keyboards nevertheless. (and you get to customise the cables, unlike the razer KB, it's fixed)

I have a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL, a good, solid, well made and durable keyboard, with cherry MX brown switches but, no frills, no extra knobs and media keys and, no fairy lights! After 7½ years use, it feels ready for another 7½ years use.

Filco is a really nice keyboard.

Back in the days PC keyboards were plain but solid, I swore by those Keytronic KBs, but now they started putting leds on theirs. Everything was Beige back then!

If I'm not mistaken, those old Commodore 64's had Keytronic keyboards.

I do a lot of typing without the lights on, it serves a practical purpose but wasn't the reason for the purchase, strange as it sounds, I find all the led lighting strangely therapeutic! I know, I'm weird! 🙂
