Roksan kandy K2 BT?

Hi, Im looking for a new amplifier and found that the praised kandy k2 has been upgraded. Anyone heard it get? Is it smooth sounding and will it be enough bass when there is no tone controls to adjust the bass level but there is two subwoofers outputs i think.

That Pioneer of yours is going to be pretty hard to beat comprehensively! I'd definitely take the Pioneer along to a dealer and compare it directly with the Roksan.

The Kandy is a very good amp, however, if it were my money I'd go for the new Creek or try and track down a Evo2.

I used to own a Roksan Kandy amp and found it very easy to listen to, quite warm sounding with good solid bass, however I would demo first to see whether it is a big step up from your Pioneer.

I had the Kandy K2 and I don't think there is a better option in this level price , the new version has also a bluetooth input and its power was increase .

A very powerful amp you'll have a plenty of bass . A safe bet !

I got two options, the marantz pm6005 or the 2times more expensive roksan kandy k2 :? , My speaker will be Monitor audio silver 2 which I have pre-ordered. Had the marantz pm6004 before and it had little more power then the pioneer and since the roksan got 2x140rms :shifty: and looks even better then the marantz but im not sure, I cant demo the roksan.

Best to have an audition. I heard the old K2 which was not bad but thought the Creek 50A was better and that was at the same dealer, don't know the MA speakers though. I don't think the Marantz will give you what you want, the K2 will have more bass than the Creek.

The Creek is easily the most refined amp under £800 that I have heard.

Clear, agile and reveiling as against the big bold, more assertive sound of the K2. You pay your money.......... :?

I heard the combo of the K2 and the Monitor Audio Bronze BX2 and it was great . The Kandy is an easy match for speakers and it's not a fussy amp .

The new version BT should be even better in term of power output . It is a safe bett you'll have plenty of bass, details and a solid soundstage :dance:

i didn't hear the new version but I believe it's correct , Roksan is a reliable company with top class products in a reasonable price .
