I have a pair of LS7s (not 't's) which I bought in the 1980s driven by Rotel RC-970BX preamp and Rotel RB970BX power amp.
The tweeters in both LS7s have just blown (I know why: a friend misused them).
1. Would you seek to replace with as near as possible the original
(Celestion HF1000 soft-dome 25mm)? or
2. Would you seek out some more modern tweeters (better materials but
might upset the overall balance
3. If not able to get suitable tweeters, what modern speakers would you recommend to replicate the sound of the LS7s? They are situated at one end of a room 33’ long by 12’ wide.
Yours in hope
