Richer sounds!

Seems like a curious stock decision... Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking down my nose at RS, and indeed I have dropped plenty of cash there myself over the years, but is anyone really going to spend that much money on equipment in a shop where you can't get a proper audition?

Richer Sounds are possibly going for the market of people who have the nerve to audition elsewhere and walk out. I can't do that!

I remember that RS used to offer a 30-Day money back guarantee on the CA 740/840 Amps and CD Players if you weren't happy with them. I'd be astounded if they didn't do the same for these speakers. As we all know, a home audition is far better than any in-store listening!

Fabulous speakers, though. We use them as part of our reference system in our main home cinema test room. Definitely worth the money, if you've got it.

I agree - rather good.

Seems a bit strange as they've always pride themselves on quick turnover, cost effective equipment.

Looks like they are going High End!

Performance 6

They out class all the CDP and amps they sell!

Chris

Maybe Richer are feeling the pinch as the resession takes hold. Reading some interesting material lately and it seems mid hifi is on the slide and the low end has been a commodity purchase from the local supermarket! Apparently these areas of the market are suffering in the current recessionary environment. But the high quality end of the market still has legs.

The performance 6 could be the start of thier resessionary recovery.

Quality continues to count for something.

Bravo idc. Support your local (independant) dealer. It is all about service.

Unfortunately. Having the money, and having the money to spend on new speakers, are two different things.

;-)

No, they'd just get won by someone who only joins to enter the competition!
