RHA CA200 - review

Here is my review of the 'RHA CA200', a headphone that costs just £30. I must confess I didn't know anything about the UK based, RHA before reviewing these, I wasn't expecting much, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

These are for sale on Amazon UK for £16.95 at the moment. This is directly from RHA, includes free postage and a 3 year warranty! It sounds like I'm advertising these doesn't it? I'm not working for them I swear, I was just impressed by the nearly 50% reduction in price when it's already pretty cheap.

Very odd - I got a RHA MA350 from them and reviewed it (bright, but pretty good), then never heard from them again. They already have a presence in the Apple stores, so it's not like they need reviewers, especially independent types, but here they are sending out random feelers. It's very different from what most mfrs. do.

Edit: Maybe they run a Nessie tour agency and just do earphones as a hobby.

True, I was quite surprised to hear from them, but I'm glad that I did. My friends at work were calling me a headphone snob before this. At least two of them are buying these now. Although the Noontec Zoro is going down quite well too.

On a different topic: I swapped my HD650 with another guy who has them at work, for the afternoon. I wanted to see if there was any sonic difference, but they sounded pretty much identical. I don't think it's old enough though (3 years). I'm told we have a HD600 there too so tomorrow I will go and hunt it down.
