My father has virgin broadband, no wireless. He just bought a kindle so wireless would be handy. I have an old netgear wireless router he could have, is it much of a hassle to set up the new wireless router?

I know it's not what you asked, but doesn't Kindle have USB? (Probably a lot easier than faffing around with wireless if that's all it's going to be used for.)

Can't be too difficult as I've managed it. Just send ethernet cable from modem to input on router and you're away.

Cheers, I think I'll leave the router connected and fit Ethernet cable to wireless router as I think it's a cable router that my dad has but not sure, I'll need to go over and have a look.

Your dad will have the standard Virgin cable modem, I meant what is your old router? If it's an ADSL one you'll need to check if it has the option for connecting to the Virgin modem via ethernet, it may not.
