My system consists of an Onkyo TX-SR606,Marantz DV6001,Q Acoustics 1010i 5.1,Samsung LE40A557 and

a 40gb PS3.I am in the process of selling my PS3 and am wanting a stand alone bluray player, but do I also sell the

Marantz dvd (which is superb)..? my budget would be up to £300 and need advise on what player to go for .

Please Help

Personally, I'd say go for a Sony BDP-S370 - which you can get for less than £100 or a Panasonic DMP-BD85 - £230ish. Both are excellent BluRay players and also excellent DVD spinners.

I'd be tempted to go for the cheaper Sony and save the money to spend on discs...

I recently bought the s370 and moved my orginal 60 Gb PS3 to my bedroom and I am shocked at the level of improvement from the s370 particularly as it relates to sound

Thanks for your reply,I was looking at the Sony but can it match my Marantz..??

I want a bluray that can play / upscale dvd's as good as the Marantz does very well

Thanks
