I have just ugraded my 3005SE setup with an iQ60c Centre and I'm very happy with it.

I am also thinking of upgrading the Front L/R 3001's with some Kef bookshelf speakers.

What are peoples opinions of where I need to go - iQ30, XQ10 or XQ20 to achieve a substantial

benefit

Because you have the iQ centre, I'd stick with the iQ series. Although if you're sticking to standmounts, I don't see any reason why you can't look at the XQ10 or XQ20. One thing I would ask though - what amplifier are you using? This may govern your choice....

I have a Pioneer VSX1019, I should say that I want the speakers for 2 channel stereo Music as well as Movies, I would consider Floorstanders if the change was "dramatic".

I wouldn't worry too much about floorstanders as standmounts/satellites tend to work better for movies anyway.

I think with your amplifier you'd be better off with the iQ series rather than the XQ series. If you're changing your amp at some point to something in the £1,000+ price point then do consider the XQ series. I do find that KEF loudspeakers suit movie soundtracks better than most.
