Replacement resistor for Sony SS-A 701

Hi all,
Fixing up a hifi for a friend, and found a dud resistor to be the problem. Issue is, I can't find any identical replacements online. The labelling on the resistor is pretty unclear so I'm unsure what to look for as a replacement, could anyone recommend me something? It's a Tonfrequenz bipolar W-X9, rated at 35v AC and 100v DC. Also has 3u3 written on the front but no units to be seen so I'm unsure if this is a resistance measurement. Any help appreciated!

Cheers :)

Pablo, are you sure it is a resistor? 3u3 could mean 3.3 microfarads, in which case it is a capacitor, the split AC / DC voltage ratings are also found on certain types of capacitor. I could find no reference online to the manufacturer - which is strange.

My suggestion would be to take the amp to an expert to have the component replaced. Unless you are sure what you are doing there is always the chance of a fire risk or the possibility of electric shock.

This is a bipolar (non-polarized) capacitor.

You can replace it with a capacitor meeting these requrements:

3.3 microfarad bipolar..... 35v AC.....100v DC
