Repair or replace?

I got my hands on a NAD 3020a a few months back and have been looking around for some new speakers. Turns out my grandad had an old pair of AR 18LS speakers, but in pretty bad condition. The foam padding is all rotten, self repair will cost £20 minimum - I cant find much information about them online, is it even worth attempting to repair them?

If the common oppinion is to replace - does anybody have any recomendations for some speakers well suited to the NAD?

Although the NAD 3020 is quite old it is a versitile little amplifier and could power some modern budget speakers. A service would probably be in order though. As for speakers, maybe some second hand Gale or Mission speakers (ebay) or if you are feeling a little more flush then perhaps some Q-Acoustics or MA BX2.
