Hi all!

can you suggest any reliable but not very expensive tablet (samsung galaxy or ipad are off budget) to be used as remote controller to stream music from a nas in a hi-fi system? I'm seeking any reliable device less than 200 euros (170 pounds). I know that there are available wi-fi tablets that cost something like 99 euros but i am very sceptical about buying these devices (even if their primary task will be as remote controllers) Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Harry

You best option is this app:

Via this tablet:

pro-ject has its own application for apple & android the box control, i just need a decent tablet to stream my music from NAS and feed my amplifier. Nexus7 16gb (8gb not available) in Greece is quite expensive 290euros. If i choose this price level i prefer samsung or ipad mini

I use a Creative Ziio7" tablet as a Squeezebox touch controller and uPnP controller. It's only £60 but is limited to Android 2.2 and has a resistive touch screen.
