Rega RP1 and RP3 - owners question - cable length?

Hi, does anyone know the length of the audio cable that runs from the back of the turntable? Thanks in advance!

As far as I recall my old Planar 3 had a cable length of 1 meter.

Offfpphh. That is ridiculously short! I have a Systemdek that current has about 1.5m run and it can barely plug into the amp. The turntable sits on the top shelf of a Alphason glass stand that has a total of 5 shelves, the amp sits on the bottom and it can just about reach!

Are rewires of tonearms easy to perform?

I wouldn't change a Systemdek for an RP1 and I don't think I'd change it for an RP3 either to be honest. Would you not be better spending on cartridge and/or arm upgrades for your current turntable?
