Rega P2 lever fault

The lever on my 1 year old P2 has developed a fault. It doesn't stay up and so doesn't hold the tone arm (once it is off its rest). Is this easy to correct or should I take it in?

I would take it back to your dealer, Rega's are normally very reliable and they pride themselves on their values, it's a simple fix and i would imagine your dealer will not charge you for this and they may well give it a quick service.
