Rega Brio-R vs. Cyrus 8vs2

Has anyone compared/listened to these two?

I got the cyrus as a second amp but it doesn't have a phono stage. The Brio has the stage but no headphone out.

Need something small. Is the Rega an upgrade on the cyrus or am I better off buying a phono stage?

i think if youre ok with the cyrus sound you might be better off getting a phono stage.......my project stage is very good but ive only got a micro so the quality of your amp might warrant you go a bit higher up the scale ............cheaper than splashing out 500 on another amp

I agree but maybe try the brio r and see what you think at its price point it's a lovely amp with a superb phono stage (for a £500 amp)
Isn't the Cyrus amp a lot more cash? However you may prefer the sound of the Brio over the Cyrus but can't see much in it myself.
Once you get over £1k amps start to make a difference
