Recommended Speaker Systems for Large Rooms

I am trying to create a home cinema in a large room (about 10m. x 5m. with ceiling 5 m. high). The sound seems to really bounce around the room (a lot of bare walls and large windows!). I'm willing to spend about £800 on the speakers. Can you give me any advice on a good system to fill a large room?

I would suggest you try and address some of these problems as whatever speakers you chose will not give their best.

Do some research into room acoustics and how to tame the reflections

The room will have a big affect on the room, but perhaps with a little thought on location of speakers could help.

Is this going to be a dedicated room, or is the Lounge?
