Recommendation For 1k speakers for a large room

I'm moving to a new pad next month with a 25x25 front room. What sub 1k 5.1/7.1 speakers would you recommend that will fill a room this big? I will be movies:HD TV shows:music around 35:35:30.

I've had a quote on some SVS speakers, but I was advised to take the bigger sub pushing the price to 1700 for a 7.1 system.....

I firmly believe that anyone considering speakers sub £1500 should audition Lake Audio's 5.2's - they are quite phenomenal.

I just had a look at the site and I'm tempted just becuase they look so sexy, but they don't seem to manufacture a sub. What would you recommend adding to a Lake Setup? Do you have any links to Lake reviews?

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I'm not a sub man - never owned one, never used one.

Why not get in touch with the boys at Lake Audio - I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.

No reviews on the speakers, only those testimonials but i do know they are real as I wrote one and I know a boy who wrote another.
