Recommend me a cable...

Hi

Looking for a decent cable to connect a DVD/Blu Ray player to my stereo amp. Will need to be 3-5m long.

Don't want to spend a fortune...

Any recommendations?

I use a couple of these in my bedroom setup inc. DVD player to stereo am. They're well made, cheap and well shielded so if I ever get round to fitting my new kit in my car, they will also be used there.

Profigold also worth a shout if you're on a budget. I can also vouch for markgrants cables, slightly more expensive but top notch components used, hand built and tested.

I would recommend starting at the low cost end.
Buy on the internet so you can return if not happy.
If you keep it and upgrade later you also have a standby / spare if needed.
Look here for about £6 - send it back if its rubbish.

I have one (older purple version IIRC) in my system connecting my SB3 to my amp. It's no better than the cheap ixos one I linked to but £20 for 5.0m is a bargain. I would say, keep the length to a minimum though which should keep things tidier.
