hi - just a quick one anybody, cables for rear speakers in surround sound system, do you use the same quality cable as for the fronts? (looking at articles in mag acceptable cables for speakers seem to be about £6pm - but the rear speakers will take a lot of meterage so adds up)

thanks

Ideally yes they should be the same, but I've found no great loss in using a lesser cable from the same brand. If you're only going to use the system for movies it'll be no problem - for multichannel music (from SACD, for example) it might be worth spending a bit more for the rear channel speaker cable.

You dont have to, and it would be wasted money if you ask me, as they only really make effects sounds. Yeah, what Andrew said. :)
