Reading between the lines...

Maybe it's just me, but when I read the review of the Diapason Astera speakers I read "over priced, underperformer". For that much money, they should blow you away with their jaw dropping sound. I don't get that from the review. In fact, the review makes it sound like they are probably easily bettered by my PMC DB1is. I suspect they are. But what should we expect from a brand that instantly calls to mind diapers? On the other hand, they are sturdy. And i do like me some sturdy speakers. I mean, let's say you're listening late at night and you've had one too many cocktails (yeah I know, like right now) and you need something to lean on, well there they are, ready to serve. Of course you could buy 500 canes for th same money. It's tricky...
