Hi, you would first strip the speakers down then thoroughly clean with a petrol rag, take a piece of 800-1000 wet-dry sandpaper to the cabinets to take any kind of shine off, after that clean down with a tac rag & give a good even coat of primer, leave to dry & use the same 800-1000 wet-dry with a block to sand down evenly you may have to apply a second coat, then clean down again with a tac-rag, now in a dry but ventilated area give the cabinets a black light coat & go per instructions second or third coat may be needed, when satisfied leave to fully set-at least 24 hours clean down & check for any imperfections, if a slight run or a blemish has occured use wet-dry...but wet this time with a block to fix these areas, once happy its tim for a clear coat, light coats probably no more than 3 or 4 should be good & just follow the time delays between coats & you should be fine, sounds more than it is, if you have an old speaker you could work with that first to get yourself familiar with what you are up against for all the extra expense would be...but it would be better making all the mistakes on something you dont care much for, hope this helps,
Cheers
Benny.
