My Denon tuner has a built in RCA lead (yuk, I know, but it only cost 99p). Unfortunately the end of the RCA connections, the sticky out bit, is going green - dunno what the technical term is - the metal is rough to the touch with a whitey greeny apperance.

Best way to deal with it? Leave 'em in a glass of coke? Well have you seen what it does to a penny!

Most probably corrosion.

Leave it as it is or replace with some new parts. Not so difficult to do- even if it involves some soldering...

The coke will 'clean' it but it will be even more rusted after a short while. I found this out at my own expense with some slightly rusted chrome plated bike parts...
