For fans of RP, the streams have just been upgraded to include 320kbps AAC & MP3. Excellent SQ for internet radio IMHO. Also for ATV4 owners, there is an ATV app which includes the photo stream as per IOS app. NB Itunes radio only 128kbps. You can add the 320 stream to itunes via import file - streaming.

cheers for the heads up on what looks like a good app. Had never hear of it, but only been listening to it for less than ten minutes, and three brilliant tunes, all of which I've not heard before. App downloaded, and adjusted settings to 320!

I should have asked for app recommendations earlier.

320kbps is standard if you have a Naim streamer so I've been there for a couple of years now. 🙂

Just have to say, been using this app for two weeks now, and it really is a first class radio station. The tunes are all class leaders. In my opinion what bbc radio two should be, instead of the bilge it promotes. (Jeff Lynne anyone?! Lol. Sorry any fans ;-) )

The sound quality stood out immediately. I keep thinking its better than google all access but I think it must be the choice of decent mastered tunes. But really, the quality is as good as I have heard through streaming, or better than.

I find the mellow choice in the evenings especially agreeable.

Check it out if you haven't.

Oh yeah, and no adverts or self indulgent DJ's. Top station, cheers again for the heads up emp!

I notice from their FAQ that they offer 128kbps AAC as their highest quality. Do you find this high enough?

(Most of what I listen to is either 320k AAC or 256k AAC or ALAC.)
