I managed to demo my B&W 804S' speakers with the Rotel a few days back and really liked it. However before I spend my money on the Rotel I have a few questions and for the sake of brevity I will list them...
1) Can people recommend me alternative amplifiers to the Rotel with the same/similar connectivity and power output as the Rotel.
2) Has anyone heard the peachtree 220 SE? How does it compare to the Rotel? I am very tempted by this amp (based on excellent reviews) but have no way to hear it.
3) I have a pair of sennheiser HD700 that I would like my amp to be able to drive well. What is the Rotel headphone out like? Anyone plugged in a decent pair into the Rotel?
Apparently the peachtree has an excellent headphone out (another reason I am interested) but with the Rotel only having a small headphone socket - it makes me think its an afterthought. PS i know I would be better off with a dedicated headphone amp
