quick question about speaker cables

Hi, I have recently been given quite an old home cinema system but there is no wire with the satellite speakers to link it to the amp.

Could someone please explain what type of cable is needed to do this?

The speakers are 4 ohm and have positive and negative connections.

Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated as I don't know much at all about how to set a system up! Cheers

Any standard speaker cable will get it working i.e. essentially a load of wire, stranded together and insulated in something.
