Quad QSP amplifier versus 909

Has anybody heard the QSP against the 909?

Using an Audiolab CDQ 8200 and its digital pre amp front end, need an amp with lots of drive for my ATC 11 speakers.

I have already ruled out most of the NAD Rotel power amps as the sound quality had to better than my Icon stereo 40 valve amp. So probably looking for a warm sounding amp?

All i can say is people on this forum with the most knowledge rate the 909 very high
