Quad CDP and 909 power Amp

What speakers would you recomend for these? Either stand mount or small floor standers(pmc/spendor) all kinds of music but not really classical.thanks all. Nick

The Quad's own speakers will match nicely with power amp and CD player. You could also try Monitor Audio RS6 which would give you the soundstage you're looking for - also any of the Mordaunt Short (all produce cracking standmount and floorstanders)

All of the aforementioned may be a better match than the Spendors or PMC (IMHO).
