Quad 12l vs Proac studio 110

Ive the chance of buying myself some nice proac studio 110 at a very good price, Trouble is they are to far away to demo any opinions on wether these are a proper upgrade over my current quad 12l? Ive no doubt there better but by how much is the question i'll keep my pennys and carry on saving if the improvment is going to be minor.

As long as the Proacs are driven properly, they will show a fair difference over the Quads, giving a tighter, more accurate presentation than the Quads can offer. With a £200 amp, the Quads would be a wise choice, but with something better, the Proacs will come into their own.
