QED Micro or Silver Micro

Trying to finally sort out my surround speakers in my new house. Due to the size and geometry of my room, I need to get 30m of cable [:O] I'm using QED Silver Anniversary for the front three and was thinking that for the rear pair, this was:
[*]Overkill [*]Too big to run discreetly [*]Expensive
So I thought I'd go for the Silver Micro, as that would be a good match for the front.

Is it worth it? Should I just go for cheap'n'cheerful QED micro, and save myself £60? Or should I look at different cables altogether?
I'm thinking of getting some Q-AV BMR satellite speakers as surround speakers, but there is a possibility (Mrs. Scene allowing [;)] ) of upgrading to RS-FX or RX-FX down the line...

This is the one that you can't find on the QED website directly, only via google!

Depends if you need teh QED Airlocs (which i have) but i also use these ones, pack of 20

http://www.thatcable.com/acatalog/info_banana_plugs.html

They are a bit shorter, but do the job fine

Yes, I'm debating whether to get Superfi to terminate them at 15m lengths with the Airlocs. Only issue is, I'm not sure if it will be harder to run the cables with the plugs in place... Might accept the slight loss of perfection *sigh* and go for some home-fitted plugs

Well the 4 rears are connected with the That cable plugs and they work fine, you just need trim off the ends to expose the cable strands, then solder the ends and screw on the plugs dude

it was quite easy actually, I was rather surprised, not really normally good at things like that (must be getting old....)

I've just ordered two 20m reels of the Incognito from Superfi, to hook up to the pair of Q-AV rears I've also just ordered. (Unfortunately not from Superfi, as they're out of stock.) Bargain price, and I'm going to end up with 2x5m left over.

Maybe I'll save them for when I get a new amp so I can try out front height speakers...
