Ok here goes
I'm looking to put together a system which will handle a variety of sources, CD, Digital TV, DVD, sounds good (I prefer music quality over movie), but is also fairly minimal and cost effective. The idea of using active speakers to achieve this appeals to me greatly.
I haven't had a listen of the Quads yet but I'm going to be arranging a demo soon. Unfortunatley I don't see how I'm going to get to listen to the ADM's, so I was hoping there will be someone on here who may have had the opportunity to hear both, and can give a rough comparison. I admit that if I did go down the ADM route the cd player that would currently connect to it is a budget NAD, so no high end stuff here, at least not yet.
Any opinions?
Thanks
