Q-AV System - corner position??

Thinking of getting the Q-AV speaker system but the main soundbar speaker will be situated under the TV which is in a corner of a the living room. I have previously been told that soundbars don't work in a corner position but the Q-AV system is different with its BMR drivers etc - the main question is does anybody know if this would work? Thanks.

Hi,

I think having the TV in the corner for any home cinema set-up doesn't really work. But BMR drivers do work very well, a home demo would be the best option.

I'm getting one tomorrow so will let you know how it goes over the weekend. Likewise my TV is in the corner of the room.

Got mine setup over the weekend and am pleased with the results. Whilst you do get a sense of left/right panning this is not as strong as a dedicated 5.1 system setup correctly. However, in my situation I had to fit everything in a corner of a soom so a "proper" 5.1 system wouldn't have been any better (and possibly worse).
