Hi, QA 2000 OR THE TANNOY HTS
101? I’m using Chord Crimson plus sub cable, Chord Silver screen speaker cable
with Onkyo TXNR807.Mainly for Movies but some music too. Room is approx 3.4m
back to front, 3.3m side to side and 2.7m high. Chord Super shield HDMI connections
too with SKYHD, PC I7 overclocked with x2 5850HD cards, Xbox elite, wii, PS3
fat one. Any help would be appreciated. WHF magazine suggested the 2000 or the
q7000, but I can’t afford the new 2000i or q7000. Thanks

Personally id go for the qa package and its available for 399 now ! they are bigger speakers though then the tannoy set so take that into account too . if you want style and discreet go for the tannoys .

Thanks for reply, yes there bigger, I was thinking of getting the brackets for rears and the Sounstyle2 stands for the fronts. I'm not sure though if the stands fit the qa 2010's. The cheapest I've seen the brackets is 13.99 delivered. I've heard the Tannoy but not the QA and the Tannoys are nice sounding, it's just the review WHFM gave, especially the Centre (most important in my opinion the the sub) of the QA is swaying me and your advice backs it too. Whats the difference with RCA and Coax cables? I have a spare QED reference cable, can they be used as a sub woofer connection (for my set downstairs) or is the wireing different? Again thanks
