is the PS4 uk version region free for Blu Rays and DVD,s ?

No it won't. PS3 never was, and it's impossible to unlock them.

why I ask,I bought a copy of End of Days on Blu Ray. It will not play on my two sony blu Ray players,but will on my PS4?

i was told the disc was region free or 0

not sure urge how it is playing then ?

Hi there.

Just tried my us import blu-ray of "Lost in Translation" in my PS4 and it plays ok, only thing is it took ages to get to the main menu, much slower than my main player (CA 751).

I haven't tried any region free dvd's yet so cannot comment on these.

your copy of End of Days on Blu Ray will not play on a sony blu ray player but does play on your PS4, only thing I can say is maybe the region lock on your sony bluray player is more strictly enforced that your PS4 (see my last comment)*unknw*

Lost in Translation blu ray is confirmed region free, regardless of what it says on the box.
