ps3 vs apple tv

ive got all my music stored on my ps3 in 320 format and i am thinking about getting apple tv and using apple lossles will i hear an improvment worth 260 notes or will it be not much of an upgrade

alsoi have a plasma screen and on the ps3 you have moving screen when music is playing what does apple tv do or is it a static screen because that would worry me a little(screenburn)

if i go for it i will look to buy in about 3-4 weeks and i will do my own tests over the next couple of weeks using a laptop with lossless files but first i would like to get sum of your inputs.cheers

I know nothing about this, but a quick search on Google suggests that the Appletv does not have a 'visualiser' (like iTunes), but can do some sort of slideshow from photographs whilst playing music.

I'm sure there are people on this forum who can answer your questions more expertly, but I thought you deserved some sort of reply!
