PS3 not outputting a picture ....

My system has been working fine until the PS3 suddenly stopped outputting a picture. Sound comes through but I can't get a pic on any of the HDMi inputs on my PX80. I've taken the Onkyo amp out of the mix and wired the Sony into the TV directly and nothing. Sound through the TV speakers but no pic.

Virgin still comes through the system with pics so it's def the PS3. I only get a blue screen when it's on

Is it a common fault for the PS3 and do I need to take it back ?

Just try re-setting the output by pressing down and holding the power button on the PS3 until it beeps.

If this doesn't work give Playstation a ring.

Thanks MP. I tried it first (before all the fannying about) but it didn't work. Tried it again at your suggestion and it worked. Weird but who cares.
