PS3 @ HT-SS1100 conection

I have a PS3, Sony HT-SS1100 home cinema and a Panasonic HDD/DVD player. I can get the Panasonic to play through the SS1100 but not the PS3 (this plays only through the TV). Has anyone got a solution.

Sounds like you need to change your settings. From the PS3 crossbar menu, go to "Settings" > "Sound Settings" > "Audio Output Settings" and choose "Digital Out (Optical)".
