OK.........PS3.......HDMI cable connection into my TV.....but does the PS3 have the Analogue RCA phono outputs on the back to allow me to connect it to my Stereo Amplifier and if not how would I be able to do this

When using a HDMI from your PS3 the only other output for sound is the Optical Output which can be selected from the PS3's menu, but if your Amp does not have a optical input then the only way of getting a Phono output for your Amp is to not use a HDMI but get a COMPONENT cable for the PS3 which has Phono's for the sound which can then be split if you so wished so that you can connect to both the Plasma and Amp.

Thanks D J..........

Was hoping there was some kind of an adaptor I could have used for the Phono side of things while being able to retain the HDMI connectivity....but guess there isn't

PS: So it's Scolari then...............Don't think the guy who delivered my FREESAT yesterday was too happy with me when he saw that my young Son's Chelsea Rug on the floor.......said he supported someone else though didn't ask him who just in case world war 3 broke out.........some people take Football far too seriously......He was probably a bouncer for FREESAT UNITED
