Projector for World Cup

I know zero about these. Currently we don't have a TV, but I'd like to get an inexpensive video projector for the World Cup next month. Has to be cheap, since its fate after the tournament is uncertain.

Also, am I correct in thinking if I buy one of those Digiboxes I'll be able to connect the video projector directly to that by HDMI? Do these and the projectors have HD, or is this not a feature of projectors at the moment?

I do mean cheap, by the way. Official budget is £300 for the two but could possibly squeeze another £20 out from somewhere.

Most have HDMI or DVI input. Keep in mind you'll need something for sound as well... If you have an AV receiver this should be easy.

There are some in that price range by Acer, Epson, Optoma and InFocus (the X6), all of them only 800x600 though and I don't know how they will preform in broad daylight (badly most likely...).

I'd say your best bet is to go for a used one (make sure the bulb has enough hours left on it!) or look into renting one.
