Hi all maybe some one else has had this problem or can help. This has happened twice Over the last couple of days, when I've loaded a blu-ray disc up and gone through the menus and started the film, the sound is weird, the only way I can explain it is like some of the dialogue is missing, for example, watching wall e today at the start of the film you could hear the music but could not hear walle, the sound of his tracks or him speaking and the bass is very week, to get it back on I have to change the sound setting or switch of and on. The only thing I've changed recently is the HDMI cable, I got the wire world with the subscription to whathifi so put it in-between the 370 and the Denon, I know the cable is a 1.4 but will that make a difference? Any help any one?
Ps one more thing for a while now, every now and then the picture drops out twhile watching a blu-ray, blue pixels then a black screen, I don't know if it is related.

Regarding the sound problem, I've had something similar in the past and it was due to the settings on the blu ray player concerning primary and secondary audio. Your problem might be something different if all you've done is change an HDMI cable but it's probably worth checking you've got these settings right.

Just thought I would post a update if anyone was interested. I phoned Denon on Monday and explained the problem to them, the chap was very helpful he told me that the micro processer might need to be reset. First of all I had to type the ip address into the Webb address on the computer and bring up the Denon screen. In the bottom left of the screen there is a save option, this will save all you settings, next reset the micro processer as it says in the manual, then using the computer again, on the Denon screen use the load option to load your settings back into the receiver, I did this and as yet I've had no problems... fingers crossed.
