Just wondered if anyone had tried one of these, was thinking about getting the arcam ir dac 2 but this is half the price so got me thinking, cant find any online reviews tho.

I know from your other thread that you have been having trouble with your dac so if that is why you are replacing your Dacmagi XS then I understand.

On the other hand, from a performance point of view it makes little sense, the XS is quite capable, if I wanted to change, I would be looking at something quite funky.

A yamaha WXC 50 for example, take your laptop out of the equation for music playback, stream everything from the WXC 50.

Yes ive looked at the yamaha but id never use the streaming side of it, thinking more the arcam ir dac2 atm just for blu ray and tv and pc, its meant to be quite laid back and my amp is bright sounding so thought it may match up but obviously id borrow from richer sounds or make sure i could return if not big improvement
