Powernode2 with buchardt s300 mkII or the new B&W s2?

Does anyone have experience with powernode2?

I have just bought the B&W 707 s2, havent recieved them yet.

In the meantime I got the opportunity to buy a pair of buchardt s300 mkII used, at a cheaper price, than the B&W speakers.

Does anyone have knowladge of the powernode or the speakers?

I have the powernode gen 1, a lesser powerful version of the gen 2. And it sounds good. It goes pretty loud with both the qacoustics concept 40's and the PMC 20.26's as well. Iam yet to hear it distorting at any voice levels.

But I have'nt tried it with bookshelves which are more demanding on the amp section. Especially B&W's have terrible impedance dips. So to get the most of the powernode 2, I would add a sub rythmik or rel to ease the load on the amp. The powernode comes with a cross over at 80 Hz. This really helps the sound quality when used with a sub. All the best....
