power supply or mains conditioner

Hi all, i ve got the cyrus prexpd and 8power and want to add a few extra.If i go for the power supply what will it do to the overall sound.what s better, putting the power supply into the 8 power or the pre xpd??or would having one on both make a massive difference???Finally would i be better off not worrying about power supply and go for a mains conditioner???

Hi

Cyrus would suggest changing your 8 Power for an X Power. I contacted Cyrus last week as I was thinking about getting a PreXPd to run through my 8 Power and they suggested that the 8 Power would be maxed out by the PreXpd. It is worth e mailing them with your query. They are very helpful and respond quickly.

thanks guys.i will definately audition both the xpower and psx-r and see which one makes the most improvment to my hears

I agree - spend money on upgrading the Power amp - not adding to it.
