Is,
I need a longer power cable for my keff ls50w2 (3 m./white)
However:
- the original cable is 16 amp. there are hardly powercables to be found with this same amp. Would 10 amp also do?
- audio-powercables tend to be extremely costly. Anny suggestions for a n affordable cable?

greetings

You don't say which country you live in, which will affect what type of plug is on the other end of the 'kettle' connector pictured above (properly called a C14 connector) but as WayneKerr said, any country specific extension lead will do.

That cable is from a parts bin. Consumer electronics nominally require no more than 5A fuses in their mains plugs

Yes.
Your plug (socket) there can handle 10A, but when used for your Kefs will never get as much as an amp going through it.
The cables can be rated as low as 6A though, which is when 5A fuses are fitted - fuse just needs to be lower than cable / connector ratings.

Those leads are available in various lengths.
(Or you can get rewireable versions of what you're holding to make the desired length).
